Christian Endeavor or C.E. as it is often called is Eden’s Middle School Youth Group and consists of youth from 5th through 8th grade.  There are 2 adult couples that serve as C.E. sponsors for a term of two years.

The sponsors plan fun activities for the kids approximately every  2 months.  Activities have included bowling, going through the Corn Maze near Buhler, KS, Christmas caroling, roller skating, and miniature golfing.  Some of the C.E. events have become annual traditions, such as the Wednesday evening taco supper fundraiser and the Farewell Swimming Party to say goodbye to sponsors and those going into high school and welcome the incoming 5th graders and the new sponsors.

C.E. also does several service projects throughout the year.  They help to get the Eden cemetery ready for Memorial Day, pack school kits for MCC, and buy and wrap Christmas gifts for the Big Brothers/Big Sisters participants of McPherson County.

In addition to all these activities, they plan one overnight event.  This year the C.E. attended the WD/SC Conference Event “Know Jesus” at Hesston College and the next year they will have a Lock-in somewhere in the area.

JYF (Junior Youth Fellowship) is an organization that includes all 7th and 8th grade students. They meet together Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings for Bible study.
