Mennonite Men - The Eden Mennonite Men hold several annual events including the Father/Son Picnic and Mennonite Men’s Banquet which includes a program. Monthly Saturday morning prayer breakfasts have been a highlight for many men in the past year. The organization helps to provide funding to rent the Kansas State Fair Grounds in Hutchinson, KS for the annual MCC Sale as well as the 10th Man Church Building Program. They also provide man-power for the Mennonite Disaster Service program. Recently Mennonite Men also began supporting the PET program. PET stands for Personal Energy Transportation. It is a wheelchair that gives the gift of mobility to persons who have lost the use of their legs due to polio, landmine injury, amputation, disease, etc. To learn more about the PET program go to http://www.giftofmobility.org/.

Dorcas
- The Eden Dorcas Society derived its name from Dorcas, a woman in the early church known for her “good works and acts of charity.” The Society’s constitution, adopted in early 1946, stated that arousing interest and support in home and foreign missions plus giving aid to those in need would be a main focus. Since its inception the society has maintained its connections with and support for the conference-wide women in mission organizations, with members faithfully attending district and national conventions and other special events. Support for Mennonite Central Committee has been on-going as, creating quilts and providing other needs for the annual MCC sale and the collection of monthly projects.

Dorcas members have always contributed generously through the monthly offerings and have consistently provided support to the larger denominational women’s groups that fund special projects conference-wide, such as scholarships for women students, both foreign and national. Locally, the Society has assisted during Red Cross Bloodmobile visits and is presently the group that organizes and serves the traditional funeral meal at Eden. Dorcas, with Mary Martha Society, maintains the church kitchen and replenishes the central supply for the use of church groups.
Dorcas Society has 9 regularly scheduled day-long meetings during the year, breaking for the summer months, plus several special events planned by the program committee. Each regular meeting includes a short business session and devotionals based on material prepared by the Mennonite Women in Mission office. Dorcas Society has consistently maintained its connections with the local and larger church through its originally stated purpose.

  Mary Martha Quilting
Mary Martha Circle - The aim of this organization is to promote knowledge and work of missions and to promote and serve with special interest to the members of our own church (weddings, anniversaries, auction sales, etc.) The Mary Martha Circle, meets on the first Tuesday of every month, omitting July and August. We alternate our workdays with evening programs. For our evening programs we usually have a speaker or musical programs or other informative programs. During our workdays we quilt, tie comforters, cut quilt blocks, etc. The quilts are usually sold at the MCC Sale, along with comforters, wall hangings, craft projects, etc.

Sisters In Spirit (S.I.S.) - The goal is to be an all-inclusive organization for women. We want all women to feel welcome whether or not they already belong to an existing group. We feel that the nurturing of all our needs, spiritual, physical and emotional, is important and that through programs such as Bible study, support and prayer groups, family activities, etc., we can try to meet those needs.

Women's Circles - In 2005 a new vision for women at Eden began. The goal was to include every woman in the church in a group where she could effectively connect with other women in the congregation, and in the larger Mennonite Church USA. The vision for the circles is "To unite the women of the Eden Mennonite Church, Moundridge, Kansas, in mission and ministry to women in the church, in the community and around the world." The goal of these circles is to include the following activities: 1. Gather for Christian nurture, fellowship, discipleship and mission. 2. Minister to needs 3. Mission Projects 4. Relate to and support the Western District Conference and Mennonite Church USA women's organizations. 5. Serve the Local Church
